Here are the X-rings I use. I wish I could by these in bulk without having to get the rest of the rebuild kit...

Because I have dozens of them from running them in my Kyosho buggies. I find them to last longer, operate smoother, and they leak less. And they are the cheapest x-ring type o-rings I can find. So far they are flawless in my Mi5. YMMV.
(my stock shumacher o-rings leaked like crazy)

I heard about the new steering blocks and pins this past weekend! Thank-you Schumacher!!!!
I cannot say enough about this company! Mark Musgrove!! You are the MAN when it comes to support!
Production changes on the fly!!
Lou's-Speedway and Hobbies in Dorchester Ontario Canada has sold 5 kits so Far with two more on their way. We will support this car and company fully for years to come!
Im also glad so many are using the simple 14mm bolt mod! it makes this car so much better.
I used the super soft Spec-r orange "O" rings in my shocks. Zero leakage so far.

do you still use the 3x3mm grub screw with the 4x14mm mod???

No. I never bothered with that 'fix'. That was for more or less, the prevention of extra movement of the lower caster piece on the outer pin. For this, just simply shim as needed. .1 shims do this job nicely.

3mm grub screw and then locking it down on the 4mm screw to hold it in place, and keep it from getting loose.....
any thoughts????

No issue here bro
Team Schumacher has done a fabulous job with designing the total pkg with this kit. The kingpin issue more than likely was a 'non-issue' with their bevy of team drivers but in the hands of us mere mortals, a weakness have reared its ugly head. But not to fret...once pin-pointed, our concerns were heard, running corrections were made and we have new parts. Bravo Schuie!! Bravo
I wonder if there has been any testing or thoughts on the impact of varying thicknesses for the top deck?

I run mine with a shorty pack...... prior to running shorty's, my car weighed 1540 grams, I replaced my servo with a savox, went to a shorty pack, changed to a PF speed 6 LW body. now my car weighs 1265 grams,,, It works great now

I have a pic with a shorty pack and the firmer bumper, its between 5-10 pages back.
Adrian M, (the lucky devil) even found a P-DUB bumper. If he ever brings his car out here to calif he might suddenly find it missing...j/k Adrian..
