Does any one have a solution? maybe diff rims or longer outer axles?
Have you considered using a dremel to grind a notch where the rim touches?

I would have to dremel the arm its self, while not a huge deal. I'm using V1 parts which are brittle from my understanding, I'm afraid to weaken it to much.

I may try trimming the inside of the wheel itself.

If you Dremel the arm, try to make a smooth cut with no sharp edges. Sharp edges focus impact forces and make a breakage more likely.

Got another dilemma. Somehow I broke the battery holder and there are NONE to be found. I was wondering about cutting a slot for the battery tape in the chassis so I can use a different brand. Anyone try this?

Can't you fab something up? A C shaped plate and a holder like the AWX cars have.

The problem is the holder itself has the tape loop molded in. I was thinking Exotek xray holders but no integrated tape loop. The other solution is double sided tape I suppose.

Have you tried looking at 3racing?

I pulled one off of my parking lot car. Not going to need it and that car may become my parts car.

I made a set for mine but unfortunately won't be able to cut more anytime soon as my machine is in storage till I move.

I know how you feel.
I went through a phase when I broke 3 of those guys in a month and of course it was always the front one.
I have a few other parts I designed for the DETC410 but given the circumstances, I have to hold off from making any new parts.
