Elliott is rubbish.

5th in his first worlds in 2008
3rd in 2010 after changing manufacturer
3rd in this years Euros with a prototype car.

That EWS final had plenty of quick guys in it, if you think Chris Grainger is a "normal guy" you're sadly mistaken.

For anybody that can't recognise it, the first line of my post was sarcasm.

Jeez, if he was that good you'd have thought he would achieve something by now to warrant being a Pro driver :-/

(As above)

Wow is right... I think you might want to read how he got there. I.e. - did he get there because other people broke down or got taken out? This is why I specifically wrote his "A game" vs. other's "A game".

No knock on him as he would drive circles around us all. But he's a tier lower than those other guys given everyone is having their cars running properly.

Now that the meaningless discussion of a professional drivers skills has been settled, let's get back to the important questions. When are pictures of this car going to surface? When is the chassis going to be released?

Who the hell is Chris Grainger? What car does he drive? No disrespect to him since he can probably also drive circles around us. He may not be a "normal guy", but he's certainly not even close to being a household name....errr hobby shop name like Hara, Groskamp, Rheinhard, Volker, etc...

C'mon guys... you know what I mean... Tier 1 drivers for touring cars could be = Rheinhard, Hara, Volker, Groskamp, Naoto M, Wilck... Tier 2 = Lemieux, Elliot, Hackberg, Andy Moore,...who else? Tier 3 = ?

All I'm saying is that Elliot has not raced against the top tier drivers with the DEX yet. Not saying he won't be successful; it just hasn't happened yet.

He was in the last worlds A final and is the Current British champion lol.

He is the top Schumacher driver probably on the planet, he moved to Schumacher from Yokomo where he worked along another unknown guy called Masami, Yokomo released an edition of the BD with his name on it.

Just because I have a life with 3 kids outside of RC and don't have 2880 posts like you do, does NOT mean I'm a "troll". Sorry if you have nothing better to do. By your definition, were you also a "troll" when you first joined this forum and only had 28 posts or so?

Wow, moving on !!! The Dex release is a little slow compared to the Xray T4 14 , or the hobao Car kit, etc... I guess that's why people are frustrated, and pick on top drivers wheeling the Car...lol..... Release the Car already !!!

Wow, I didn't know that former Touring Car World Champion Andy Moore was a Tier 2 driver!?! Damn! I guess Masami is Tier 3 because he never won a Touring World Championship...

Just the same as you being uneducated about who some touring car drivers are doesn't make them "tier 2" drivers.

I'm even a Durango hater and I wouldn't call Harper a "tier 2" driver. If you want to claim he's only done as well as he has because others weren't on their game then that's fine. That would be a pretty lame excuse but whatever. Maybe those drivers who aren't on their game when they go to a big race shouldn't be considered "tier 1" drivers? WTH is a "tier 1" driver anyhow? Someone who can make it into the A-main at a worlds? Guess Harper fits the bill.
