yes, or for F103. All F1 cars have about the same wheelbase.

Thanks! BTW, is the 101w worth the cost? The Xray x1 is slightly cheaper, but how do they stack up side by side, for those of you who have experience with both cars?

Here's a TAM84192 McLaren MP4/5B. The only extra trimming needed is to clear the carbon suspension arms. The body from my F104WGP fits and the Ferrari 643 TAM84194 fits as well.

after a little rc-break it's time to dust off the TRF101, with the new carbon front end and a fresh body. Bench racing is really nice, now time to hit the track @ MACH Heemstede ;-)

That looks great! I'm tempted to get the carbon front end but it is really expensive. Let us know how it goes on track.

I just got the new front end too, $79 at rcmart along with my $399 TRF 419 so all in all shipping didn't kill me.
Shoot, I even payed for express shipping cuz I saved so much scratch and I really didn't want to wait. 4 days everything was in my hands!

So how is the new carbon front end on the TRF101? Anyone got it on the track yet?

Yep
Didn't get many laps in, bumped a board and sheered off the front king pin at the groove for the e clip above the spindle.
Hope it was a fluke or could have been stressed from earlier use since it wasn't new pin as it was reused from the other front end. Maybe the older front end allows more flex and is easier on these pins? I know some of the other F1 chassis with rigid carbon fibre front arms have been known to sheer these off too.
Tuning Haus has addressed this and has new stronger pins available and I'm gonna look into the size and see if it will work.
Didn't have another one and didn't care, I was at the track to run the new TRF 419.

Got one trackday with the new front end, no problems with it. Just the looks will give you 0.2 per lap. Oh, and some more setup options with the lower arms (roll center).

Nope the new front end is different to the one with the TRF101W as it is for the narrow 190mm F1 class.

The new front end is compatible for the new TRF102 though

So hopefully I will get to try both

just followed the F102 link and read the description.
Looks like I already have one pretty much with my F104WGP with a TRF101 front end. Now I just have to sand down my chassis/upper deck plates to make them thinner lol

You would hope its a lot cheaper than the TRF101 as its got $5 arms on the front and if you upgraded to the carbon front end it would most likely end up being the same price.
