Official release by Tamiya Japan is June 22nd, as can be seen on the Tamiya Japan product page:

Hey Kentech, thanks for posting the link to the RC World article.

I think the photo from the first page is interesting. The car is on the Tamiya Shizuoka circuit and the two screws that normally control droop, but now secure the upper deck, are missing. They must have been looking for more steering….I guess.

Tuned chassis flex, just like rubber tired Sedans...
Noticed there are more cutouts on the TRF chassis than vII as well

I know this is speculation, but do you all think the 101 Front End will fit on a current 104v.2?

Yes it will, it uses the stock lower arms
