Lee Martin said that these were TRF thumbscrews on his 201, but I haven't been able to find them. I ordered the thumbscrews from the FF-03R but they were the closed cap type.

I'm interested in hearing what changes people are making from the manual build.

I could be wrong but I think you have the links ball in the wrong hole on the spindles. Pretty sure its factory supposed to be second to last hole location and not the last hole.

** So after looking at other pics of setups it seems other people are running the last hole, does this make the ackerman arm effect greater/less?

The tie rods are supposed to be set up with 20 mm gap instead of 22mm if the servo is set horizontally.

Tested my TRF101, works better than I expected for a rear wheel drive. I wonder how u guys set the esc setting. Mine set punch at 1, 3deg increment, 25% drag brake, 40% brake to achieve a decent control. If higher it would spin out at slightest throttle and brake. By the way my motor is 13T since it is the only slowest motor in my stock yard.

The thing which is attracting me to buy this chassis is its appearance and the TRF badge....

I'm skeptical as to whether it'd perform better than my VBC Flash or F104 WGP.

But I do have an itch for this car .....it just looks so damn cool ! lol

Gotta tell ya man, I love my VBC but the 101 is so much faster through the corners. My VBC just sits on the shelf now. At least it keeps lookin pretty that way.
