They make a replacement wing set for the 2012 Ferrari body that is black plastic instead of white. Pretty sure paint will flake, and my RIT experiment resulting in a grey wing.

Wouldn't vinyl be a better choice? or you could buy the black wingset.

Pre paid for my new F1 over at Speedtech. Mr.Jeff has been so helpful since this is my first F1 car. Getting ready for Texas EOS & UF1 Houston Tx. Almost forgot,, does this kit come with a body n rear wing.

According to Tamiya USA:
•Requires D : wheels, tires, body set, motor, esc

I find it strange that this car is to be released hopefully in a week. However I inquired at my LHS about the car; they know nothing of it. It is not listed on any of their distributors. I have also noted that Towers which is one of the distributors has not listed it as "just announced".

I admit that I do not compete on the highest levels; nor am I a top qualifier. However based on the research I have done by the time I buy a V2 kit and at a couple of upgrades that are recommended, I am either at or near the cost of the TRF101.

Hey I remember you, I was the Austin F1 winner with the Brawn GP car. Hope you get your TRF101 in time for texas EOS rd.2 at my home track. I expect a huge F1 class at this race. We had 17 F1 cars racing last weekend and it was 95% locals. I am hoping the EOS will pull some of the Austin and Houston
F1 crowd to our track.

Since everyone is waiting for the TRF101 to come out I scored a good deal on a F104V2. I figure it will suit my needs and if the TRF101 is that much better it looks like I could buy the chassis and front end to upgrade my V2 down the road.

I run the Texaseos series also but opt to not run F1 since I run UF1Houston. I may change my mind for the upcoming mikes race and drop VTA or USGT. I also preordered with speedtech for the TRF101 but currently running a SP1.
