Getting ready for my first Snowbirds and I am looking for a little setup help. I will be running 1/12th 17.5. What is a good starting point for rollout, tire diameter, gearing, and motor timing? Also what tires? I was thinking pink front and double pink rear.

Here's what I ran last year, the car was easy to drive and fast:
CRC Graylow 41mm. Chrome 40.5mm-IMO you really need to run a tiny tire at this level of traction.
D3.5, max timing, 90mm rollout. Lot of guys like running the ht rotors up around 100-110mm and in between 10 and 20* of timing. I would suggest trying all and seeing what you like best.

Awesome - look forward to seeing you running in WGT, which is still one of my favourite classes.

I'm in for Formula 1 Sticking to just the one class this time as we have family with us so more magical holiday time.

Can't wait for Snowbirds XX

Hello everyone. The first few days of entries has been real strong! We have many new racers coming to the Snowbirds this year so that is very exciting for sure. Website will be updated soon with 2014 sponsors. We welcome many new companies this year helping out and supporting the event, along with several that have been here for many years. Thanks everyone for the support and interest. The Snowbirds XX is going to be one of the best races yet. Lots of fun for sure!!
