Hey that's fine, and I wasn't talking specifically about you. Every time a new car is announced, there is usually a thread about it and of course there are critics.

Yep, I guess there are so many ways to put together the drive-train on an RC car...

I just ran my new SP tonight and if they can make a better car than that I can't wait to see it. My new SP was incredible and still not perfect yet. It was fast and steers like no other touring car I have ever run. It might just a improvment over the Pro but they keep fine tuning and making them better. They did have three cars in the A at the Worlds and was the most in the A main from any company. The car is still more than capable than running with the best. This car was a great design to start. Just like the TC3 that is now growing older but the MR4TC is still one of the top cars you can get. It is one of if not the best car I have ever owned so far.

i heard talk of a new corally car with this same front belt rear gears driveline. i remember it was a pretty long time from when yokomo bought out the mr4 to the mr4 pro so i would think this new car would be the same. that is how they make more money. also if they hadnt had enough r&d to race it in the worlds i doubt they could have it in shops by the end of the year.

yokomo used a similiar drivetrain in their old 4WD off-road cars(dogfighters) but used a chain instead of a belt....kyosho as well but used a belt in their last efforts......middle-late 80's time frame.

The MR-4 was not originally meant to be yokomo's top car, this is why it took a while for the pro to come out.

It's a good thing we don't go out and buy the newest full size cars everytime a new one comes out like we do in r/c....
