Who charging 20+ amps or more now??

It dumps all the power to the load.
I hooked up the input line straight to the load and hookup a volt meter.
Works great.
If you want to add more load just solder .47 ohm resistors inside.
I used it for a one cell - Integy 30 amps.
For two cell I would use the Integy 20 amp.

I'm in the same boat. I have been reading a thread dedicated to the 4010 & 308. I 99% sure we could. We set the maximum parameters in the charger and it works inside those. Us 1s or 2s battery users won't have any issues with the 30a Reactor. The wattage never really adds up. The 6s-10s flyers have issues with getting enough watt dissipation.

Seems like the reactor would work, just need to pull the "brains" out of it.

Thanks for the info
To be more specific, scroll down to page 20 in the manual....

Dammit I'm up way too late
Bah! I'm up way too late. I think sleep deprivation impairs my judgement. You were right I couldn't wait any longer.
I just ordered the 308 Duo from BuddyRC and added the free ParaBoard. Besides the best way to learn is by doing.
Thanks guys I greatly appreciate all of the comments, tips, and info.

I'm certain we could. I want to do like this YouTube video, except on a much smaller scale.

Does this work with the 308D! I've been thinking of making something exactly like that, but haven't gotten around to figuring out the details. One detail I haven't been able to find yet is if you are using regenerative discharge, does the charger draw power (around 10.7A for a 2 cell) as well as dumping power to the load? Or does it dump all power to the load?
1. Standard discharge 80watt max
2. Regen discharge
a. To input(car battery, or deep cycle)
b. To Channel(dump power to load connected to other channel
c. To Channel charge other battery(supposed to be a function added in future update.)
3. Lipo Extended Discharge(found on page 38,39.) This uses a combo of standard discharge PLUS a load connected to positive lead between battery and charger.
I believe with all of these methods it uses constant amp until Target voltage is reached then switched to constant voltage and balancing cell voltages until complete.
FINE PRINT: This is how I read and understand the manual. I will try each once I have the charger. If anything differs I will edit and or delete post to prevent spread of false info.

That's the way I'm understanding it. I will likely use the dump thru other channel into external load method mostly to keep the heat out of it. The Indy reactors are pretty cheap. I'd rather burn them up.

Hello
I just got a iCharger 4010 Duo. Love it so far and I want to learn more. I have a couple questions I am hoping some of you experts can help me with
1. Internal Resistance. What are the good numbers I need to be looking for on the charger? What is bad? I run 2s and 4s LiPo packs.
2. External Temp sensor. I did not get one with the charger and cannot seem to find them online. Can someone send me a link to them? And they are for LiPo right?
Thanks in advance for your help!
