Default total noob

New to rc cars. Played with as a kid. Now interested in more . Want something I can customize over time. Imporve handling speed and look. Was looking at the e10 s-13 but it seems the reviews say its basically junk. I want ro be able to go between drifting and just playing in the street. I have done modifications to my daily driver with zero car experience so I am okay with some assembly. I appreciate all the info in advance. Thank you. P.s. I do have a initial budget for the beginning purchase.

Is this chasis fully customizeable? Can I upgrade motor and all that stuff as I improve my skills? Can I buy one with parts included? Or do I have to research each part? Sorry for all the questions im new to all t his

This chassis is a roller only with no body. It comes with the pictured wheels/tires. Its a countersteer setup out of the box with rear overdrive. You'll need all your own electronics and body. You can go from there with upgrades on the chassis itself. 3racing has lots of hopups.

As for being a noob, don't worry about it. For some reason it seems that the on road community doesn't really want new people to join it because they are reluctant to help noobs. I'm just getting started with onroad myself, but I've been doing offroad for a long time. If you want to have some serious fun with RC, you should get an offroad vehicle that you can jump and will be usable on more surfaces than just smooth stuff. HPI, Associated, Losi, and Durango all make decent Ready to Run kits that you can use.

Have fun!

I am actually big into the car scene and I am all about pavement. This is probably a horrible question. But if I was to order this chasis. What parts would I need to get it running on the road. And thank you so much for the help.

I'm in to cars as well. I have an evo X for daily.

You'll need

2 channel Radio and rx
standard servo
Brushless speed controler
Brushless motor
Pinion gear
Body

You might be better off getting the HPI RTR like this one

There is a company called exotek that makes aftermarket chassis upgrades if you want to go for a full CF bling setup later on down the road

Big fan of evo's. I personally have a G35 all motor, no boost :-( bur back to the funner car's. The rtr you linked. Can I upgrade in the future? Swap parts and such? Maybr a rtr would be a good starting point.
