It's more linear and u feel throttle position change more them the older speedo. Motor temps dropped for me too.

Default The new new

Ran my RS Gen 2 over the weekend at Village Raceway in Palm Beach back to back with my RS Pro. I was able to produce faster laps with Gen 2 and the motor ran 15 degrees cooler over a 6 minute run(13.5 blinky). In stock now at superiorhobbies.com!

Any idea when the 1s version will be coming? I'll get 2 as soon as they come out.

here is my review of the new rs gen 2

holly crap, this thing is fast!!

having used the same super reliable rs for the last two years (and winning the local year long driver series two years in a row with it I might add) I was curious to see how much smarter, smaller, faster the new gen 2 is.

well, smarter, yes, the data logging is awesome, a quick play told me straight away I had been loosing speed in the mid range and made it easy to work out how to sort it.

smaller, its the same size

faster, well fark me! its a animal

cons - ummm, hummm.... oh yeah, the receiver wire was too long

pros - same size, same motor/battery layout, so can use slot it in to the same place as the previous one, same easy to use hotwire software, with some cool new features (data logging being the main one).

oh, and not having to unplug the bloody receiver wire any more!

and most important, its the same colour as my white iPhone 8)

thank you Tekin for once again, making a esc that a idiot like me, can understand how to use and hopefully win with

Can someone post some pictures and information on the data logging feature? The data logging is the feature that has me the most intrigued?

3 for 3 with this speedo. It's getting better and better. Big plus with the data logger and and not having to unplug it to make changes. More efficient then the older rs, been finishing races with less drop off and motor is running cooler.

What are you geared at for 17.5 blinky in your sedan and what motor timing do you run?

This weekend I tested exactly that, I pulled the RS Pro out of my boosted 13.5 car and in went the shiny new GEN2. I can say without any doubt that the GEN2 has taken a step forward from where the old RS line left off, you have much better feel from the throttle especially in the first half of the throttle so you get a good linear feel. The power delivery from the boost/turbo system also feels like it has been refined and really feels strong over the whole run.

Yes, the Gen2 boost is stronger than the Gen1 boost is.
