Default What is the current demand for Intellect 3600-3800 cells?

Seeing as ROAR hasn't made them legal, which is only a matter of time anyways, do you see a demand at the club level for these cells yet? Just curious

I don`t know about the ROAR/State side of the house... but In Japan the IB3800 is really hard to keep in stock.. .. they are the hot ticket in Japan right now.. the 3700GP seems to be used more by the 1/12 scale guys..

I use them currently, I have 5 IB packs and one GP pack. I purchased the raw cells just for the cost savings.

At my local track most people still run 3300's but the hobby shop is slowly moving twards selling IB 3600's over GP3300's. I have run both SMC GP3300 and SMC IB3600's like them both, the IB3600's seem to have a little more punch but thats about it, so I don't think we will see these cells in high demand, but they will sell.

Well I think its safe to say they will only become more in demand in the next few months, wait till roar approves them, then it will ramp up.

the intellects are getting very popular in Australia, the local matchers are selling them well due to the good price and numbers,

I picked up a three IB3600 lose cell packs from HK for very cheap (us$23 per 6 cells)

I got them from HK, www.rcstation.com $23.80 USD for 6 (IB3600), shipping to Canada wasn't cheap - $30 usd (18 cells), but after all costs including bars, wire, deans and heat shrink the packs cost me approximately $50 CDN

The differance between the 3600IB cell and 3800IB cell is night and day..... 3800IB cell is clearly better .. the 3700GP is also a good cell too.. .it just the 3800IB cell would be my choice in 19T and up racing due to the low IR....

Guys, if you are interested in IB3600 and IB3800's , I have been matching the 3600's for a while and just getting my 3800's now for matching.

I can sell you matched 3600's (1.175 + volts) for $US40 or if you want loose unmatched but zapped you can get them for $US30 plus postage.

They are excellent cells. Far better than 3300's
