i am using the orion advantage...and yes it does have temp cutoff.

12mv for the pack is fine, 12mv per cell is crazy +)
I use 30-36 mv per pack myself, on re-peak I use 10mv per pack

my packs will get around 120F (49C).
the temp cut-off will protect your pack not to get overcharged! on Step3.

Oh, in winter time when the temparature is cold -> always use the warming tray and heat it up to 26 to 28C at least before charging!

well, no point setting it to 12mv per cell, if your packs are triggering temp cutoff that low, you are probably getting nowhere near 12mv/cell anyways

Do any of you remember seeing a certain pic of hara's pit area at some large event last year where hara had some mysterious tray that he placed his battery in during charge? This was a warming tray. You have to believe he was doing this for a reason .
