I use a castle mmm/2200 combo in mine. the mount will be fine you will need a rc-monster spur gear adaptor though to use traxxas spurs.

Exactly which spur gear adapter?
And does the traxxas spur use the same pitch as ofna?

I've had good luck with Tekin but hear hobbywing is pretty good for the price. I ran their stuff in my boats and never had any trouble.

I'll second the Hobbywing. I've run their Xtreme Stock and Justock and they are smooth in sensored. I just put the 150A in my gtp2e last night during my first build of one of these. Still need batteries and to glue the tires up.

The traxxas spurs for the revo are mod1 just like the ofna. they come in 36, 38, 40. I'm running the 40t now.

the ones i saw were 0.8p where did you get yours. i ordered the single speed conversion....( thought it came with a spur gear)
but i did recieve my 30t pinion... its a tight squuze but i dont think its too tight on the gear mesh (its tight though , no play) until i get a gear to go on the adapter this is what im using. did anyone else use a 30t with the stock spur?
edit :got it!!! 2 new spurs 40t and 36t with the 30 t pinion and 2200kv brushless on 4s
