Looks like the links are moved out wide so a transverse battery would fit

Looks like most of the parts will fit on original car which is great as the original is still pretty good.

I wonder if it's possible to convert the original to the 1.1. It's also good to see this, as there has been a lot of concern that Speed Passion was no more.

From what I hear from BP, is that Solara is just in Hong Kong for a big race, nothing about SP being Kaput. I sent a PM to Solara last week I guess he'll see it when he gets back from HK. I hope everything OK with SP, I'm only 27 pages into this thread, already ordered an SP1 from BP and F1RCLab and am absolutely giddy about getting it. I've been down to only 2 F1's for about a month now.

Question for any of you that have both the SP1 and the LM1. I have LM1 with SP1 on the way, I know the actually chassis plate is different between the two but I want to mount an old school body on the SP1 and not sure if it will work. I like the 80s and 90s bodies up until the raised nose era began. SO I guess my question is are the mounting post holes in the rear and battery plate the same. Or really what besides the lower deck is different between the SP and LM? I had to move body posts on LM to the unused holes on battery plate to mount a Protoform Caddy vs I used the mid/standard chassis holes for the LMP body.

I have finally got more order together at F1R/CLab. BP worked his but off helping me pic replacement and upgrade parts. Answered a lot of dumb questions, some more than once. Help me decide on a body, F60, all sorts of stuff. Hopefully I will get it early next week. Thank you BP Shadow. My go to guy for everything

The steel axle bends, even without impact with the wall. Anyone else experiencing this?

I read about it around page 53ish but only from a could of people and maybe not even page 53. I'm a little over halfway through thread and have read it twice. There is a graphite version.

farther into the thread I read about it several times. I just got my SP1 from F1RCLab with a bunch of shiny bits and graphite axle. Also has an updated manual for mounting lower brace in rear, (sounds disgusting doesn't it?) lower suspension arm, steering upright, shock and mounting front and rear wheels. Basically most of the stuff y'all recommended earlier in this thread with shorter screws, washers, spacers and all. Has it always been called the SP-1 F1 PRO? Or they just making fun of the way I drive? May start build tonight but I'exhausted.

This kit practically put itself together only had a few issues and as usual they were self inflicted and involved an Exacto knife. I take full credit for the mess, glad I didn't pan out a bit and show the whole workbench.

Got an update from Speed Passion on Facebook a couple of days ago, haven't seen anything more about it. Here are some pics, I don't really have any more info. So if any body does have the info, learn me something. Please and Thank You.
