hi, ive just got myself the 4 star motor to run in the BRCA Mod nationals here in the UK. It says on the pack that its BRCA legal, but the 4 star is not yet on the list. With the first round only 2 weeks away i had my LHS contact helger racing about the matter. They have said that it is LRP that sends them off to be homologated.

Is it true that lrp have to send them? and are you expecting it to be legal for the first round. I understand that it might be hard for you to comment burito but can you find out whats going on?

thanks so much

Hey burito.

I know this is offtopic, but i have to ask that from you. I had a serious problem with my LRP Phaser competition receiver.

It just dead couple weeks ago during the race, so i was a little confuse what happend?

I bought it almoust year ago, so is LRP lifetime warrenty with it..?

I ask that from my LHS and they was`t sure about that.

@janisk: I don't want to give promises regarding the 5-Star delivery date which we may not be able to fulfill! It will just take as long as we're completely satisfied with everything, but it shouldn't be too long before the release...

@sleighty: will talk to the BRCA about it next week, thought motors were submitted already!

@Cruisaaja: true, really off-topic...
I'm actually not sure either, drop an email to [email protected] about it. They can for sure answer that one for you.

Hi,

Yer the 1,2,3 star version are on the list but the 4 star is not. Im sure its legal as far as it will adhere to the regulations but if it isnt on the list then i cant race with it.

The nosram 4 star version is on the list so im just waiting for the LRP version to be put on it. Just wondering if anything can be pushed through as the first round is on 30th April.

A receiver pack (5 cells) is recommended for 1/12 use, but some drivers ran it with no problem at the euro's with no receiver pack. It just doesn't work flawlessly with all receivers when no receiver pack is used.
Which power profile do you use? I'd recommend #3 for 1/12.
Right!!
The problem is when I hit full throttle only. I used the #3 program.

I don't understand because in the euros myself don't use receiver pack and I hadn't any problem. Single me has happened this in asphat...

It's possible that the power capacitor is broken??

Greetings!

So the Sphere Competition comes with a capacitor?

I want to confirm that my spektrum will work with the Sphere competition without the need to add the spektrum capacitor to the receiver.

Also, with the Sphere Competition work with the Novak 4.5R motor?

You will still need a caP for the reciever if you use the Spektrum ...

and

yes, the 4.5 Novak will work with the Sphere

I will be using the Sphere Comp for TC racing with brushed motor and pratice with brushless motor.

Will I need the motor cooling set or will the Sphere Comp overheat easily?

Burito, what do you think would be a good gearing for this track?

Right now we are at 7,9 FDR and have problems making 5 minutes (Using 3600 batteries, we are going to test with 4200 soon)

Put it on the heatsink with the little white sticker facing down, or pull away the white sticker first cause it sits pretty loose.
