tx batteries
i just got some nimh 1600's for my 3pj which in theory will run for an hour with a 1.6 a discharge. what will non rechargeable batteries (ei. duracells) run at the same discharge rate? any close estimations would be appreciated. i guess i'm wondering if the nimh's will realistically last longer since they start with a lower voltage. please, any input . thanks.

Alkaline
I find they last about 4X longer than alaklines.

yeah, i used my millenium pro to charge the ones i just got. i didn't even pay attention and went to the 5th charge mode for 4 cells i think. not so good. i thought the pro does 9.6, but i'll look again. hummmm. i spent $130 and didn't even read the manual. usual.

See that's why you all need the CE pit bull. That 10 min. long lockout comes in handle now. I charge eight 1800mAH Monster Powers at .04A with a peak detect of .02V and I get a perfect charge every time.

I use a charger meant for digital cameras : MAHA MH-C204F for charging my 1800s... it works great and I need it anyways (no sense carrying an R/C charger when I'm travelling)... charges 4 cells at once...

You should upgrade your batteries to a LiPo for your transmitter. Makes it a whole lot lighter, too!
