Default CAN YOU Identify this tc chassis? (Xpress?)

A friend of mine found this car and sent a picture text to me asking if I knew what it was. Pretty sure it is an Xpress but not too familiar with them. Anyone have more info than that for me?

A picture with your post, when trouble shooting, will probably get more rctech help than without...

I'm sorry, do you need to be able to read the resistance of the battery cells to identify the chassis? I'll be sure to call my buddy and ask him to use a DSLR next time.

It's an original Xpress from 1996-97. It came with the black alloy rear gearbox and carbon chassis plates as standard, but it has been fitted with later Xpress Junior plastic rear uprights. Battery straps are from Schumacher.

From 1998 the pro models had a red alloy motor mount with a bridge over the layshaft, and Junior versions had a plastic motor mount. Parts are interchangeable between them all, and some parts are still available as they are used in their latest mini chassis.
