I bought one about 2 weeks ago and thought it was a newer version. Needless to say, its at Horizon now being fixed. Wait awhile untill all the bad units have been weeded out.

We have our DART 2.4Ghz radio system that will be released in May. While I am certainly biased, it is much better than Spektrum, if nothing else, the receiver is tiny, and will fit into a 1/18th scale much easier. We have a R1 module in the works.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Nimble,

You might want to work out the bugs on your website. I decided to check it out and did get frustraited with the definitions and links failing. When I saved the page to my browser it just stated "home" and not what the website was. From a visual standpoint is looks pretty nice, from a usability standpoint it needs a little work. Don't use those silly construction signs either. That makes it a real stinker, just post what you have and add links as you finish them.

Not looking to bust your chops. I am a fellow racer looking to move my cars and boats into this new crystaless system.

Jeff

Jolly, the picture on the website shows the size of the receiver, less than 1 inch by 1 inch, we have a M8, KO, an 3PK module, with R1 in the works.
Or you can update any radio, such as the AM radios that come with RTR kits.
Pricing will be similiar to Spektrum, if not less.

Jeff, my apologies for the incomplete website, we felt it was important to get it up with the announcement, it will be finished soon.

Cheers,

Don't hold me to it, but currently we are looking at
Raceivers at $59,
Modules at $79 (with trade-in of old module),
Transmitter upgrade kit at $129.

I have my Spektrum for over 2 weeks now. All I can say is ......the best thing for rc since GP3300. If Nimble says that the Dart system will be as good if not better than Spektrum, then I will have to give it a try. I sure hope that Dart will not have the same limitations in case of the number of systems that can be on at the same time. If they can get it more than 100-200 so much the better. From the looks of it, there are more and more racers making the switch to 2.4 ghz system and it will not be for long that we will encounter conflicts on system binding when it comes time to switch yours ON. Just my 2 cents.

Default Spektrum

I can't say enough good things about my system. Bound instantly to two receivers, raced all weekend without a single glitch! My driving is still terrible, but I've eliminated glitches and interference as reasons. It is incredible to be able to walk up to a full drivers stand and flip the switch and drive while others are waiting for the frequency clip, then go back to the pits and use the radio without fear of interfering with others. No transmitter antenna, reduced car antenna, the list of positives goes on.....buy now and don't look back.

Why would he care about the module if he's getting a spektrum?

I've posted elsewhere about this, the HRS has 8ms response, the standard PPM has 16ms, adding a 2.4Ghz module adds another 6ms to that, so 22ms for both Spektrum and DART modules.
However, using our DART Update Kit, which is a complete processor system minus the physical controls, has a 2ms response time.

DART can have more than 200 radios on at once.

There is no question about it, a 2.4Ghz system is a dramatic improvement for R/C. We believe DART takes it to yet another level by having your Raceiver be your personal transponder as well.
