Will Speedtech or anyone in that area be manufacturing and selling spool for the Stinger, look to try it if there is one on the market.

Default First race result (perhaps...)

Hey everybody.

Where are you all
Has enyone seen Dave yet...

Well I have som great news...
I attenden a race in Aahus, Denmark this weekend, the Schumacher Cup 2005, with my new Blue Stinger!
I was running it with the std. metal diff. in both front and rear. I was wieging just under 1600 grams - without transponder.

The race was runned in Round By Round (3 out of 5), in witch I Qed 6. with at best run of 21/5:00,85 (Tq ran 22/5:05,37 - fastest laptimes just under 13,3 sec., mine was 13,55 sec.)
In the finals I ran it in at the positions 6, 4 and 3, in the total giveng me the 4. place.

I'm WERY happy about this result. It really looks good for the winter.
The car seem very easy to drive, and it dos'nt seem like at problem to get the needed tracktion/grip.
The only negative thingI have, is that on acc. out of a corner it had a tendency to slip in the diffs although I had teightned the diffs plenty I think.

Has any one els been out racing there Stingers?

Nicolai

Just received from Japan, Aluminium and Delrin Diff Outdrive, will be trying them out next weekend at the South Island Champ here in New Zealand. With the performance of the car with the heavy metal diff, I think this will make the Stinger FLY~~~~

We tested the Stinger on our track in Malta about a week ago. Although a bit heavy and with a front one-way setup it was handling great and managed to make impressive lap times immediately. However, especially for modified racing we need a front locked diff desperately. Working on some at the moment

By the way, who is making delrin or aluminium outdrives for the Stinger

No it's not all that bad. You just have to demount the rear diff, and then you're there. I think 12-14 screws....

Sounds nice. I also hope to have a spool comming next week

I have also been out racing my Stinger again today, here in DK.
The car was again handling well.
Sadly it was on driver mistakes that i didn't make it to the A-finals and the Top 8. -
Had to settle for an overall 2. place in the B-final.
Just didn't have the "drive"... Think i lost some time only being able to use the heavy diffs in front and rear...

Tried to fit at Yokomo diff yesterday - it didn't fit...

I have raced now 3 weekends in a row, on 3 different curcits, on 3 types of capet, with both CS-27 and Sorex 28 and the setup has been nearly the same. Only some were small changes...

I think it looks good!

Got it from the Supplier in Japan - Xenon Racing.

Done by Alex Racing, it is really light, 1/2 the weight of the original
