Don`t worry Hermi.... I took pic`s during the build up....I`ll post them a bit later.....as of now I really impressed with the way the Stinger handled out of the box...way better than the cuda every was out of the box...and the new 1050 flanged bearings are really nice..

The cuda was pretty darn good out of the box, just needed a slight spring change and then some fine tuning. Although it had it's spur chewing problems. I suppose the Xenon R2 was better "out of the box"

Will have to see how my BD goes before I think of getting a Stinger, would probably wait until early next year and get a PAL version.
Can't race at the moment though An operation on two fingers means my left hand is all bandaged up and will be for quite some time

Thats very nice looking!!!!!!!!!! How many optional parts do you have on it in those pics? I imagine the screw kit and the graphite drive shaft. Awesome looking car and its nice that is handles well for you. I see the TC4 taking a little break now.

Is the right hand side of the servo only attached to the topdeck?

Would of been nice if they had made the cell cut outs bigger and used the yokomo trays. Is the rear handle/bumper a yokomo part? it looks like it...

About time you updated your sig too

Thanks Dave for the photos, the Stinger looks nicer than ever

Correct me if wrong, I see you installed the following hopups ...

- Purple Alum & Titanium Screws
- Purple Countersunk Washers
- Purple Lock Nuts
- Purple Front Body Posts
- Purple Turnbuckles
- Purple Alum Wheel Hubs
- Purple Dogbones

Did I miss something?

I guess we can even add the following ...

- Purple Alum Bottom Spring Holder
- Purple Steering Rack

Your Stinger looks ultra cool. Centre of gravity of this kit must be very low

Thanks Dave, I can't believe how low that CG is? What spur does it come with? Dave I know you guy don't run foams, but what clearance do you think this car is capable of? The Barracuda was struggling with 26mm wide foams, will the Stinger handle more?

There is so much aluminium bits on tihs car. Can't wait to see it in other colours, the lighter colour like pink will set it blinking~~~~

Dave:

As usual your car looks awsome
Are you running double front towers on your Stinger ?
Did you ever try the car without any of the addon parts ?
How the F... do you change camerlink lenght on that sucker ? Can't see any ajustment points on either the hubs or the bulkheads !!
Does it come with a batteryholder like the Cuda ?

Lots of Q, but your the one with the answares

The Stinger...can accept very wide foams without any problems

Nope the front tower is stock...3.2mm & 3mm for the rear

the camber link is adjustable... and it has to locations on the bulkheads that you can adjust from
the Stinger doesn"t have a battery strap... you will have to use tape
..and I did run the car out of the box and it ran very well..... but I have a new set up that I will run tonight

On the Stinger you will not need a different steering rack....and yes the Stinger has a low LCG........ it's about 1~1.5mm lower than the Barracuda

Nice..
Like the idea of having 3.2mm front tower.. was a little weak on the Cuda.
How thick is the buttom and "top" plate ?
