I hope they show us a revised version pretty soon, I'm seriously considering getting a Yoke BD I've seen one go incredibly well at my not so local club. The Barracuda is getting a bit tired

LOL Herm, why would you want to go for something as fragile as that?? The Stinger will be sorted in plenty of time. Hope to have a few tweaks for the UK tracks straight from the factory too

Waiting for the next arrival from Alex...... then the fight will begin to chav it off Gav to get a run with it. Waiting.....all be it impatiently now

I don't crash often enough for something being fragile to worry me ok, well maybe thats stretching the truth a little but atleast at Carlisle there's nothing really to hit, other than other cars
If I bother to go indoors at Middlesbrough though, then I'll have something to worry about
I also like the look of the X-Ray and for once an X-Ray car is good value compared to the others. Why are all the other companies going up so much in price? With the way the dollar is to the pound they should be coming down in price.

I'd really like to see the changes they're doing to the Stinger, they could make or break the car.

It certainly will be worth waiting for, thats for certain.

Herm, c'mon!! the options list for the Xray is now starting to rival that of the pro 4!! All good cars agreed, but the cost soon goes up when you start plundering the hop up lists.

So Dave, got ya eye on any particular color Stinger I quite like the PAL Silver, Titanium Racing gear is a similar colour and they may play ball for us with drive shafts etc...

May have an opportunity to head to Japan with work, you gonna show me some of those tracks you play at over there

Green, yes go the green.

I was thinking of getting the Stinger and re-anodizing the aluminium bits in Green.

Just wondering the Pal version, will it be like the R2 where you can get a hop up kit, rather than a whole new car?

I'm hoping it's a full kit, I spent too much on my R2 already The standard Stinger kit isn't exactly cheap, going by the prices given so far, hopefully it will have slightly higher spec than a standard R2.

Totally agree, to be honest, in today's competitive market, I have to say the Stinger is price quite high. you know at some of the competitive tourer around, at this price you have only the Team Factory TC4 and the Tamiya TRF415MS, below this price you have the Yokomo BD, Pro4, Xray... I do honestly hope that Alex have done their research in the production model. If this car is not as competitive (or above) as the competitions, is going to be very difficult to sell (I know for a fact that I will not sell a lot of Stinger in New Zealand due to the popularity of Alex Racing and Price) .

Finger Cross is what I say, Please Give us a car that is superior to the Barracuda R3CE!!!!

FaiLip, the R3CE isnt that bad, been putting in some very good results over here in the UK, including winnig at national level.
Hopefully the Stinger will be even better

Nah, Jimmy left the fold at the beginning of the year, got a pro 4 then a 415. Havent seen him in a while, got a little girl now and guess shes taking up most of his time as he hasnt been at the last couple of nationals. So, no idea if he has any plans to go up to Stonehaven this year.

Don't get me wrong, the Barracuda is probably one of the best car I have race. The Craftmanship and the design, I think that's why they are keeping the Barracuda drivetrain for the Stinger. I just hope the Stinger would rectify some of the weak point of the Barracuda and make it more competitive to the market, and I don't mean result, I mean actual market share.

Its ashame that you don't see many Barracuda mentioned in large international events.
