Hi im new to the drift rc and on road rc area. I, bought a hpi 200mm body (skyline r34) and im looking to get wheels for it I just dont know what offset to go with. I wanna get 9mm but idk if thats gonna be too much. But all I hear is 6mm will 9mm work?

It depends on the body. For my hpi soarer (200mm) I've found 3mm fronts and 9mm rears were the go. You can actually get adjustable offset rims (usually real alloy too) so that you can make the same rims work on different cars and body's.

3/6 is safer I think, 6/9 is a little too much on my Lexus ISF, ended up more for show than drivable.

Im using the hpi e10 body which is a 190mm set up. So the 9mm might be too much? I was thinking a 6mm all around setup might be good too

That's why it depends on the body mate. Like I said mine (in my avatar) is 3/9. First set of offset rims I picked up were 3/3. Wasn't deep enough on the back but front was ok, I was going to try 3/6 but found a set cheap on eBay that was 3/9 tried it out and it was good. You'll need to experiment a little, unless someone on here happens to already have an e10 with exact same hpi body as you...

Check out an adjustable set on eBay. You can get them for about $40 (au) for a full set. It will save having to try heaps and only have one usable set.
