What do you guys think?
Your advice is appreciated, thanks.
I have a IGT1 converted to electric, have,2200 castle on 6s battery , custom 2 speed gear (honestly don't know the tooth counts ) but she hauls ass and I love hearing the click into 2nd gear . I have yet to play around with it to try and get it to shift at a later moment as I think it shifts to early but I no nothing bout nitro , never got my rs4 to run right in over a year lol

Only downside I would say is that there's no reverse , but that could always be solved by swapping the gt2ve tranny in there I would suppose but that would negate the 2speed then

Does it have the original two speed or the newer clutch shoe two shoe transmission found in the IGT2 race specs?

The original transmission works best with low rpm shift points, because of its “prawl” shifter design; too high a shift point and it can blow second gear apart.

If it’s the latter unit, then you can replace the clutch shoe springs with the Evolva units and make it shift much later; they’re harder and can be adjusted to shift at a lot higher rpm ranges.

The differences in final drive ratio for top-speed running are very different between the kyosho igt's, ofnas and serpent; with the gtp2e having the longest legs of all; running the 14/43 ratio.

I have an igt2 with a carbon fiber chassis that might be cool to try, just need to find a conversion for 8s batts for it.
