CTX D2 is a dodgy toy in my book. I spent week figuring it out to be a very non scientific tool. Test same pack twice a day for 5 days. Never had numbers close to each other.

for info

here's a charge & discharge graphs of what the ICC is doing to your cells

charged @ 5 amps to 40c
discharged @ 10 amps to 0.9v per cell

Newb looking at the graph here (the first time to take a good look),

but I do notice something strange, it looks like not every cell is being cut off at the same voltage.... although the cut off is set at 0.9V. cell 4 cuts off earlier than cell 1 by a fair fraction of a volt. (I am assuming the quick dip in voltage together with the sharp rise is an indication of the cell dumping).

The drop in voltage of the cell 3 and 4 also have a much sharper drop, (an indicator of a good cell?) vs, something like cell 1.

Also curious, what are you using to make these graphs, they look cool, but wish there was something on that x-axis

ICC + BATMAN is the best battery treatment out there on the market...
That is so sad to see there is still no LIpo charging yet because of that reason I am start thinking about the sell that State of the art charger+discharger units

good spot

I just uploaded the image without looking @ them

have emailed Spintec to ask if they can shed some light on that

sharp rise in volatge is were the 10amp load is removed from the battery

can't say what I'm using but I guess someone will know. Nothing is recorded or hidden on the x-axis
cell data from the discharge is in the attachment

Angry cel 1 is not working well

bought my Spintec charger second hand. At first it worked well but today I started to charge a 5 pack en suddenly the voltage in cel 1 started to drop. No connection problems or overheating. So I tryed another pack. Same problem. Anyone with the same problem? I seem to start afther a charge of 60 mAmp. All the other cell's are fine, It is just cel 1.

you will notice your old packs last longer, they seem like "new" longer. cable is worth getting, those updates are important to the charger and your investment in general.

Has anyone measured the Amps the charger is really putting on the External output?
Yesterday I set it up for 2A, measured with a Multimeter I got a reading of 8.5A!
I tried it several times but all it gave was 8.5A...

2nd question, I cycled my 4 cell packs yesterday and cell 4's voltage is floating... measured on the clamps: 1.35V, charges indicates something varuing from 0.7->1.1V.
the strange thing is, when I put in a 6 cell pack readings are perfect! Also for cell 4.
Just got it back from repairs and I dont feel like sending it in again if anyone knows the failure, please tell me and I'll see if I will do the repairs myself.
(oh yeah, using soft version 1.07b)

The external output is garbage. basically, don't use it for anything, but maybe to power a lathe.

Check your contacts... clean the surface of ur bars with rubbing alcohol, it may give better numbers

This may have already been covered but I couldn't find anything on it. Why does my charger only let you charge at 6 amps since the latest update??? All the Doc's say 10 Amp max. What gives?

Thanks
Jack
