no advantage at all. i been testing it and with my matched packs, i charge each cell up individually and found they all peak within 100mah of each other.... most +/- 50mah. try it yourself if you dont believe me...

anyway peak detection is so sensitive. notice when you move the wires of the charger it tends to false peak the charge process. this ok for series charging, but imagine the diffuculty to get a consistant charge for 6 cells. any movement of the charger may false peak the cells.

I spoke yesterday to Eric. There are NO problems whatsoever with the product. The current (funny word in this context) issue to get the production up to speed with the high demand. I think he needs some more time to fill the pipe-line.
I saw the product working yesterday and was again very impressed.

Out of interest, is there clearance under the cells for packs that have corally's soldered above the pack using battery bars?

Thanks

i just saw the icc in person for the first time.

i must say it is really really big. not as tall as the gfx, but its footprint is a bit bigger. it would be like having 4 muchmore ctx-c's.

now heres the funny thing... i saw it on display at the hobby shop...

i ask

me: "how much is the icc?"

he says: "its not for sale"

me: "so it just for display?"

him "yes"

me: "so have you tried it"

him: "no not yet"

me: "why not for sale, does it work?"

him: "not sure we havent tried it yet"

me: "mmmmmmmmmkay"

Maybe the delay is cos the designers are having problems fitting another 2 ctx chargers
