Speedtech has the Turbo 35 GFX for 399.99 and the CDR5000 is around 390+50 for the thermal stand.
If the Spintec can be around 350 it would be cheap compared to the Futaba and GFX's...

XingXing, how can you expect such a charger to be less than $300, I'm really curious ? I don't think you understand the philosophy behind Spintec's range : they make the best stuff, not the most affordable one. They're not there to sell a lot of units (which i'm sure they will regardless of price), but sell good ones.

To Ben.C : 165 is little less than 115. Seen as the Batman sells for about 70 in the UK, how can you expect the I.C.C. at that price ?

this is the message i`m trying to get across here

there are a couple that are thinking this is way to dear but really comparing them to the same chargers of this calibre
then i think the ICC will score since it will be around the $390 mark & this is RRP , so with a bit of street discount to pull punters in ,Erik is on a winner

i think 270. in the uk is a good fair price also , protrak is lot`s of dosh & the I.C.C. will do a lot more

mind you i think the lever on the side looks cheap compared to the rest of the machine & what it can do

OK so let do the math....
A spintech Battery Manager goes for 70GBP with converts to $130 USD
But in the US the Battery Manager sells for $99.99 so thats a $30 difference than the UK selling price.
Now if the I.C.C. will be 239GBP with converts to $421.30 so if you take the same cind of differance I think we might see the ICC go for more about $324.99-$349.99 after its first few runs through Horizon....
Which then it will be affordable to most in the US.....
Cause lets be honest. We pay roughly $200.00 for one really good charger...I.E. the Much More Cell master....Then you buy a second cause you race two classes...Heck there is the $400.00 everyone is scared about....
Heck I would only need the ICC cause I mainly use the second cell master to peak the pack right before going out if it has been a while.
Or I use it for practice packs, So I could use the second lead off the ICC to charge two packs at once...plus I can still sell my Cell Masters for $150.00 each and then only have to pay $50.00-$75.00 tops for a really fine piece of machinery....
Just trying to help guys figure out the worth of this charger.....
It will be worth it IMHO...what ever the final price will be...

April... I will be interested to see the other manufacturers efforts.

Announcing soooooo early is a huge risk if you dont have your time to market nailed.

I feel spintech are about to be "dyna pulsed" again.

it's a good possibility it will be copied which sucks that some one would have to do things like this.

I hope Spintec has some type of a pattent on it that extends to the USA so no one can touch the charger untill say 10 years down the line. I am a firm believer of supporting the original creators.

i hope we get some ICC units in the USA soon some one needs to crack that whip

Patents last 20 years. Spintec will need to have developped something very innovative for the patent agency to accept the submission, and even though it may not prove financially viable seen as patents costs a lot.

charging trays have been around for ages and ages. its just these just are the first to integrate it for a high level nerd charger.

Yes, you are right but please show one which is capable for charging the ones that are connected to each other.

huh? if i was to connect 10 cells together in series (and space them out to suite my charger), each cell is still independent of each other. so i could connect them together and still charge.

all this is doing is making the charger tray to suite standard side by side packs. you aint gonna get a patent for that

BS - take your time and read back in the topic and you will find out why it is more difficult than you described, if it was so easy every manufacturer would make one...
