Lets not let this get into who is right and wrong...
My point was to add a little jumper lead to extend the short wire or to completely re wire your speedo was a better option than hacking into a charger..
If I am wrong please explain how dremeling a $250.00+ charger is better than a $2.99 fix..

Horizon will officially 'not know anything about it' until it is officially released with a part number in their computer system...

Horizon is the only US distributor though...

Wow, I just read the instruction manual off of the spintec site and this charger looks killer I was saving to get a GFX but I'll probably end up with one of these babies

dont think it will be THAT high.

Look at the Xray, if you converted the Euro to US price, it came aout $120 too high when compared to the actual selling price.

I think the US price would be close to 399 - waaaaaay to rich for my blood.

thats alomst 3 much mores.....

That price seems to be the official price for Germany and I think within Europe will be the same. Streetprice may be lower but I never expected anything in the 150-200$ range as some other guys. An advanced design like this or Protrak or CE GFX canīt be the same price as some other "cheaper" designs.

BTW it seems there is also some equalizing unit coming in the future according to their website.

It would be really unfortunate if it came out above $300, as that will put it out of most people's price range.

WORD....
Remember though everything in Europe cost alot more than the US...
For example....
Average price for a QC2 is close to $200
WHere here in the US the same QC2 runs $160.00
SO if you take that average differance of $40.00 per 200 than
A $400 item should run more near $320.00 Which is what I thought it would close to anyhow...

Actually, in my country, a QC2 costs 250 dollars...naturally, we do what we can to shop online, out of country. It's not the shops fault, it's the dam government...

Other price examples. Danish Kroner converted to US dollars:

Modified motor: $100
Tamiya MSX: $630
LRP Brushless speedo and motor: $540

The new I.C.C charger will prolly be in the $180 price range...otherwise, it wont be able to compete with all the other chargers on the market.

this charger, charges only 1 battery, it is no use for nitro users, tx packs, lipos, pb cells, rx packs, stick packs, and only discharges at 10amps. i still need another charger and seperate discharger.

i wouldnt pay more than $200 for it.

Not sure where you got your info but it can charge stick packs, tx and rx packs on its external connection. And li-po will be included in a future firmware update. Not sure what pb cells are but i'm sure a later firmware version will make it possible?
