As soon as there is any news I will post it here!
Erik.. keep me posted. maybe i can do an "extensive" review with new batteries using the Battery Manager and I.C.C.

hang tight guys... dont wanna rush a good thing for those who havent read about the Battery Management System yet... check it out here:

will this unit just have a standard discharge, or will it be able to also discharge in the same way that the batman does?

i was wondering the same thing John.

would be pretty pointless having a batman and a batman built into the I.C.C.

Erik, do you have any estimated prices? (in £ preferabley). I would really like to give one of these chargers a try unless its turbo35 money .....

ye im thinking of getin it to use as my main charger and have my pulsar as a backup, and i was also thikin of getin a batman but if this charger does the same thiung theres not much point. It will also make my discharge tray obsolite, which is 1 less thing to take to the track

Hey Eric just make sure you guys over there at Spintec take all the time you need to get the I.C.C. 'right'. I'm sure everyone will agree that we can wait an extra 1-2 mths. for possibly the best charger on the market since the ProTrak30 ... -JB

Hebiki:
That would be cool, I'll keep you posted...

John_S:
It will have standard linear discharge, but also some other features to go with our filosofy that you should avoid heat in your pack unless it is not absolutely necessary. It will not be able to do the Battery Manager Coolflex decrystallization process.

Raving-monkey:
We have not yet set a price for it, also I don't like to make a guess here. Please be patient

JayBee:
Thanks, good to hear that. We feel a lot of pressure to put it out on the market already, but as you say: it has to be right!

Wothrottle:
It will have a 20x4 character, crystal blue backlight FSTN display.

Wothrottle:
It will have temperature cut-off system, yes. Every cell has its own temperature sensor. It will be able to charge 4 or 6 cells in the internal I.C.C. tray, and 8 to 10 cells on the external output (depending on power supply voltage level). The first units will not be able to charge Lipo's, but later we will bring out a free firmware upgrade which will enable this. The same goes for the graph software. It will output 'raw data' to the PC, you can easily manage this data in Excel.

The nice thing is that this charger project is a growing process. If there are any good ideas we simply bring out a new firmware upgrade for users to download from our website. The hardware is set up to be very flexible, so we can do a lot with software.

Regarding exact specs, we are still determining safe operating area for currents. As soon as we know more, I will let you know!

nnick:
First batch should be available before the Euro's, yes. We will be there also with some units for people to try out.

how is it possible to charge the cells individually, since they are all interconnected via battery bars, wouldn't the charge rate jump from cell to another... just wondering... but im sure this product will be awesome !

thanks - jason
