Erik,

hope you are not "implying" this thing's going to go over 500 USD...

it would be awesome to have an rpm sensor as well!

I like that you will have option add on's because that should keep the base price lower...

Erik,
Popcorn add on could be steep though....LOL
Now get back to work and get this thing to market....No pressure though.....

Shookie, yep amd draw will be displayed. No RPM sensor in the basic unit. But there is a communication port on it, so could be in the future.

Popcorn will be an optional feature too later.

The motor run in feature is adjustable, this means you can set voltage and runtime. Would you like any other motor run in features? Name it and we will make an update if possible.

No price has been set yet and it is not yet available, not even in Holland!

Hollowman, we do not sell directly so yes you should go to a shop like ROAL.

hi erik,

what is its discharge rate?

do you have a updated realistic time frame for its release? and eventual retail sale for australian customer?

thanks

hey shook.. remember.. you can only do one thing at a time. if the ICC is charging... the motor run in cannot be used. if your checking your motor or breaking it in..... you cant pop any popcorn. (unless Erik is working on a way to let this happen).

ppl are asking for these ALL-In-ONE units, but they forget only one thing can happen at a time. i like having each item separated (motor checker, discharger, and charger) that way i can start three tasks at once, especially when you run two classes at a club race.

something else to think about.. what happens if the motor checker part of the ALL-In-ONE needs to be serviced? say a firmware upgrade? now you have to send in your entire unit for service and you dont have a motor checker, discharger or charger. your left out in the cold.

thats the advantage of having separated components, if one thing goes down, you still have the rest of your gear. yes, its more gear to haul around, but its well worth it.

erik.. the plug in options are handy idea.

Uhmm excuse me.... the ICC can both charge and run motors at the same time...

Or charge a pack in the ICC tray and one on the external connection...

Or discharge a pack in the ICC tray and charge one on the external connection...

The only thing it won't do at the same time is pop corn.

dang,

this is one fancy popcorn making machine! when is your website going to be updated so I have something else to use as a wallpaper?

and the rest of my questions have been asked already

But one more question.. is this "external connection" going to come with the icc? or are we going to need to fork out another 100 to get one?

Eric, could you add in a auto voltage ramp feature in the motor run in, something like I could set the break in voltage to pulse from 1V to 3V back to 1V (and repeat every 1 or 2 second) ? ....something like what the latest generation of MMS and MTS are doing.

I know this has probably been covered previously, I just didn't have time to read through the thread but what is the discharge rate for the ICC? Does it go up to 35A? Thanks.
BTW, awesome charger, let's hope Trinity doesn't steal this one as well

Rcnewb2004, the external connection is standard part of the charger.

Doomah, difficult to say when availability will be good. We're now processing a relatively small batch, not enough to supply all demand. Next bigger batch will probably be available early next year. Exact specification of the charger will be on our website very soon now.
