pro 4 shock springs

I am setting my car up using on of the hpi drivers setup sheets, and where the spring sellection is he has put 17 not the colour ie pink or silver, can any one help? Cheers, Phil.

Probably the lb's rate of the spring.
HPI Silver Springs are rated 16.9lb's
Could be he is using a different spring and there is one for 17lb.
In any case 17lb is pretty soft. If not the softest, probably one up in most lines.

could be a different company like tamyia or associated...
the lightest spring i beleave is the associated green 12lbs

schumacher did some 5lb i think.

I thought that it was a lb rating, so does any one know the lb ratings for the pro 4 spring set.

thats a spring chart I made up, for a range of springs (including HPI). Does both lb/in, and gf/mm
