Default Trackstar 1s 1/12 esc

Anyone running this esc without the capacitor. Thing is super ugly, and I ha e a very limited amount of space. The sr3000 are huge lol..

The capacitors are for 2 things. The first is to reduce the ripple voltage caused by the fets turing of and on and 2nd and more important, to make the internal voltage booster work. If you remove them the speed controler could overheat and will not work with a 1 cell battery.

You are using a Spaktrum radio, do you know if it is DSM2 compatible? What modle is it?

How well does that esc work compaired to the hobbywing? Was looking at getting 1. Thanks
