Arrow crystal compatability?

assuming the correct band is being used, does it matter who makes them? are they radio brand specific? i see many auctions for air, fut, ko, ...etc crystals. are they only to be used in a like radio? i never thought so, but seems like everyone insists in putting in the description. let me know.

many thanks.

For most 27mhz it doesn't matter. But on 75 band some companies step their crystals. Hope that helps.

appreciate it. anything more specific? i'm looking for some crystals for a 3pj and an xr3, both on 75. i guess i could look and see if they will switch. what about sanwa or hitec? my friend is looking to go fm and i'd like to be compatable with him so that we can have a bank of crystals. anyone?
thanks mopar.

If you are looking at 75 mhz...then are are brand specific- KO, Futaba and Sanwa.........

27 is pretty universal.

From what I've tried on 40, Futaba and KO are compatable....don't know how Sanwa fit into the 40 equation because I have not tried!
