Default Sprint 2 Loose left steering issue...

Hello there, I have an HPI sprint 2 drift, and i'm pretty pleased with it, i've upgraded it and continue to try to do things to it that will assist in my drifts, I.E shaving of hubs stoppers to give me more angle, upgrading the servo to a faster one, aswell as motor and what not...But what i've been experiencing is alot of movement on the front left side, the right side seems to be fine, but its the left side that gives the most problems, i've bought the hpi universal dogbones and it helped alittle, but i still had a fair amount of play in the left side when it came to turning... now on to the question lol...i've seen a few sprint 2 chassis with modded steering, where there seems to be ONE rod runing from the left to the right that controls both wheels steering, but i havent been able to come across a forum or youtube video that explains what you need and how to make this mod?...can anyone explain it or direct me to somewhere that outlines whats needed to make that kind of modification?

To be honest you may want to look at setups from rockcrawler trucks. I have done the left bellcrank mod and that removed 90* of my slop and if you run a plastic bag ball cup mod with it you should be golden.
