Default AME - MBT - Carpet Additive

After some information on the AME - MBT - Carpet Additive...

Running rubber tyres - Sorex 28 / 32 on low to medium grip carpet.

Is it oil or water based?

What are peoples opinons of it?

Don't know what it's 'base' is, but it doesn't smell like any other additive I have (and that's most of them).

Can't tell if it soaks into the tyres quite well, quicker than LRP/Nosram, or its evaporating slightly, but the performance is certainly comparable to Nosram.

I will try some back to back testing on Friday at Newbury (Sorex 28JB's again) and see if I can tell any difference.

Sorry, not a huge help I know but I only got some last week.

I tried this stuff out last Friday with Sorex 32JB's and I did a back to back test against LRP additive. The AME stuff seemed to grip more consistently from the start of the race to the end whereas the LRP took a lap or two to warm up. Also the AME felt as if it had a touch more grip, not much but noticeable

Also not sure whether it's an oil or water base but am trying to find out, so will post back if I work it out =]

It smells strange, faintly like white spirit but not as strong

mbt works straight from the of there no fade in grip after running for a yr
it may smell funky not like fx2
you can tune the grip by how long you leave on tyres normally 15 mins

mbt was made for est control ride tyre but work real gd on sorex

You were allowed 1 of 4 choices. Alex could not use the AME Sauce there and had to use one of the 4 on the list. He did test it at my track and it worked great. Hopefully it will be here in the US at some point as it does work well on high and low bite tracks it seems.

I do apology.
I did not get the information that there was a spec additive at the race and since I know that Alex always uses AME MBT, when allowed, I was sure he used it at the Birds.

Sorry about the wrong information.
EA, thanks for the clarification.

/Andreas
