Does anyone have a set-up for the C4.1 on ozite carpet with rubber tires and a stock motor? That would be a lot of help, thank you.

Default Setups

At the moment my set up for a tight Concreate orTar track very dirty and no surface prep

Front Plastic body
Orange spring, 30w, 4 hole open, top Hole 2, lower 1
Toe in 0deg, Caster 2mm, Camber 1 deg, width 190mm

Rear Plastic body
White spring , 30w, 4 hole open, top hole 5, lower 1
Toe in 2deg, Camber 1.5 deg, width 188mm
inner Camber location 4, shock tower B

5mm front/rear ride height, next run up to 6mm in rear
Rear anti squat 3deg
center one way approx 70%

Take off cs27 all round, Take off medium insert
I have the new Corally tyres not used yet
HPI Stratus shell
1995 Trinity Midnight stock 27t 24deg LOL still going strong (well untill the new Core motors get here)

I'm currently building my new replacment C4.1, i'm trying afew new things with this car, can anyone spot a change?

How close are the springs to the Corallys, could you use them ? The uneven spring lengths are what bug me LOL in this day and age you would think that Serpent would do some quality control on them

you can use Associated or Yokomo springs without issue, gives you a much wider choice.

Other possibleoptions are:

Serpent pre-tension springs: http://www.mytsn.com/products/desc.asp?prid=2226

and

Non adjustable pistons (needs new keyed shafts)
