Yes, i have a assortmant of Proline / Sorex / Pit in all the compounds, and i have used them at most track just to what they are like, i always end going back to foam.

If everyone is running on rubber then there is no problem, but once cars are on the track with foam then there is no competition.

Having said all this there is one track in NSW (Castle Hill) that has no tire rule in the open classes, but the the track demands the use of rubber, it's a brushed concrete track and foams do not work at all. I use Sorex 20/24 and 28's on this particular track, and the car feels very good to drive.

Sorry no info that I know of. they could at least sneak us out some details. I can understand if they don't want to show pics, but dang, they could tell us something. I don't care what it is, but tell us something!

That would be pretty cool, to be able to see the new car before everyone else.

I talked to some Corally drivers at the Nats and they said that the spur gear was actually part of the rear diff. Don't know how that will work but it will be interesting at least.

Anyway.....I just wish the damn worlds would hurry up and come so we can all see it. When are the onroad worlds anyway.

My friend talked to Corally yesterday and they said the team would be at the Reedy race in late May. I'll be there so maybe I can get an inside scoop or look at a prototype. I'm surprised no one has done the spur in the diff trick already for sedan. In the eighties someone in California made a conversion for the rc10L to be 4wd but it never really caught on. If you look at the HPI micro rs4 you can get an idea of how Corally could lay it out. Just add suspension to the back and compact the diff axle and then put a one-way in front.

Dang, everything is in May. Our season starts here in May, the E3 convention is in May, the Worlds are in May.

What the heck is so special about May!

I don't know about this whole spur on diff thing. I have to wait and see what Corally has to show us.

Hopefully they will show something at the Reedy Race. Thats going to be a sweet race, being that its at Tamiya's track and all.

Ok- the latest word from Corally via my friend is that the car will be completely new except for the body posts and screws so that means no sell out Serpent parts! No release time yet.

Hi Guys,
I know this comes at a strange time, with the imminent release of the new Corally touring car, But I wont be racing corally products in the future.

I have accepted an offer to join Team Schumacher's venture into the Australian market.

I'd like to send out a thankyou to the guys from Hoby Express, for their support over the past couple of years and the Australian Corally team drivers...

I will look forward to racing you all soon from the other side..

I will pop in from titme to time, but you will catch me on the Schumacher thread...

Cheers G-Man

King-G: Why you stinking traitorous son of a bleep...bleep bleep...bleep.....bleeeeeeeeeeeppppppppp! J/K!

Good luck to you with Schumacher. Its a great company. I run Schumacher in addition to my Corally and as I have mentioned here before, depending on the new Corally, I might make the leap to the Mission.

I guess I'll see you over on the Schumacher thread from time to time.

See ya.
