sweet...it was just a shame we lost half the field at the first turn, but it certainly got the season off to an action packed start, and I reckon the title fight starts as of now between montoya, the schueys...and dc

That start was something else but I was releived to see JM and MS get through unscathed. Juan put on a great show on the restarts with cold tires but once Schueys' got warmed up it was over

Why don't you consider the Corally F-1 chassis? It is exceptional.

davidL: for a couple of reasons. One, the Corally F1 is kinda pricey for the top of the line model, and two, the new Tamiya is just plain sweet!

Beside that, when I was first looking to get back into F1, I got a used Tamiya F1 that was totally decked out with every hopup Tamiya makes for the car, along with three bodies, two sets of tires and an included servo for about 100 bucks. So the Corally just couldn't compete with that deal.

And the final clincher for the new car that I'm getting is that the new Tamiya comes with a beautiful F2001 body. For a Schumacher and Ferrari fan such as myself, I can't pass up on that!

I'm not even considering the price. If the Tamiya costs twice as much as the Corally (not to disrespect the great Corally F1) I'm buying the Tamiya for the sheer realism and suspension works. I'ts a work of art. We're talking about the all new Tamiya F1 btw.

nice pic B.K, what camera were you using?.

the night time activities were definately the highlights for me and Oasis, chatting to all of the mechanics over pit wall at 11pm, with no-one else left in the circuit, got some great info from the williams crew, really interesting guys to talk to.

B.K did you manage to score any autographs?..

Im looking to offload some of mine which I doubled up on...

I'm heading into the F1 shop at lunch time to see what their worth

(including JPM x3, R schu x2, trulli, D.C, Irvine, Rubens, heidfeld, massa, sato, EJ, Fisi, ...etc

gotta save up for the x-box...heheh

Dark & Mike - So I read into this that your selection was based on trick design plus realism. I am throwing out the cost issue because I understand that after you have bought all of the hop ups and tricks, you have spent as much as the cost of the Corally. I am surprised because I thought performance meant something, too.
