I can't believe that Corally hasn't come out with a sway bar set yet. I guess they figure the car doesn't need them. I'm a person who likes to run sway bars, so I wish they would change their minds.

I think the Corally is a better car in just about all categories over the XRay T1.(especially in the handling department) EXCEPT!!! The Hop up parts category. Xray has some quality upgrades out there for their car. Front and rear sway bars being two of the better ones. They can keep the Cells on one side chassis stuff, but theres a lot of goodies on that car that I want on mine. Heres a few of the things I would like, that T1 owners already have.

-come on, you know that battery hold down system is just too sweet! I would love to have that.
-front and rear sway bar option.
-built in servo saver on the steering post. I prefer built in units over the servo mounted units. The servo mounted units have too much slop.
-aluminum servo mounts.(tried to order some of these that come with the T1 recently, but they were out of stock) The plastic units that come with the Corally strip too easily and don't hold the servo securely. I have to put a layer of Loctite Handy Man helper(better version of shoe goo) under my servo to keep it from shifting while steering.

I think all of these are reasonable and doable changes/options Corally should make.

Cookie had a good sway bar setup at canberra, he fed the wire trough holes in the bulkheads, i guess he drilled them himself, and made some factory looking mounts for the arms, very neat but would be a total pain to install, ie have to actually bend the wire on the car.

above someone stated the 4.1 handles better, is this from personal experience or what?

Bersercoe: stated that the 4.1 handled better than what? If you meant my statement. I was refering to some Xray owners complaints that the actual suspension geometry of the T1 isn't very good. Making all the adjustments the car has pointless, because they still can't get it to handle just like they want.

These complaints were most often noted a few months ago on the Xray thread. Some felt that way, some didn't. But, here, no one seems to have any problems with the inherent handling quality of the 4.1. Thats what I meant by that statement.

Just had to clear that up.

The last thing I want is to ignite that whole C4.1 vs. T1 debate.....again!

It's ok Besercoe is an XRAY driver but he only runs stock or 20x1, so his car does not know about real handling!

No point arguing about XRay Vs Corally when Schumacher beats em both

Schumachers have all the right geometry options in the right place

BK

Even when it is bolted in a T1.

Maybe i should have got a 4.1, maybe then i would not have been exiled from team HX.

I should have got a 4.1, and then made it into a Besercoe version, the same as with my RC10T3. Cookie has gone a long way to making it better but i am sure i could give it a massage from the house of Besercoe, that would have let it dominate. (the only thing i would have to find someone to drive it. What about junior Ari, AKA Zaaaaaaaaaaaaab.)

No you could drive the car yourself, no need for hired help.

I like to think that Corally got right from the outset and there is no need to extensively modify the car, the only mod i run is the split top deck on certain tracks.

If the Corally did not exist and i had to buy a car it would be a TB Evolution II!
