I just ordered a 7x1 and an 8x1 for Vegas. I can't wait to try these things out.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I have been swapping between 7s and 8s with son Josh's TC4s and my Yoke BD. What impresses me most is that even with daft gearing you only need to skim the comm about every 5 runs, and brushes - well, I changed them after about 18 runs, not because the motors had lost any power, but simply because the brush had shortened itself by about 50%.

It's like going back to the days of no maintenance stock motors, but with awesome power.

Well done, those boys at Checkpoint.

Thanks everyone for the great feed back. I just ran the motor in oval for the first time since the snowbirds and all I have to say is wow!! The 19t motor is going to be a fixed timing, plastic end bell and machine wound motor. The end bells are being made mow and we should be testing very soon.

We now have batteries on the way. They are awesome!! Ran them also this weekend. They will be the GP 3700's. Look for them by the end of the month.

Don't forget we have battery bars, motor spray and a bunch more accessories on there way. SO STAY TUNNED!!

smashtic are they going to look like the metal ones?

Or could the armature just be taken out of the 19T and be put in one of the mod cans?

I must admit this being my first 19T/mod that I'm looking for the different look of the Checkpoint is a selling point. If the 19T ends up having an endbell like all the other brands I'll probably skip it.

Yippie! I get to run one in my local 12th scale 19T series. That's awesome news. I can't wait.

The plastic endbell I saw looked identical to the aluminum ones on the mod motors.

Daryl - Are you going to submit the 19 to be ROAR legal? Will it have the stepped shaft at the endbell, Cross wrap winds, tag, comm lock, etc?

Yes we are planning on getting the 19t motor Roar approved. It will have everything it needs to become Roar legal. That will be done after we do some more testing.

What would the recommended FDR be for a 9x2 and an 8x1 for an asphalt track, medium grip, technical layout:

Track size is 119x62

Where can the Checkpoint motors be purchased online? No one seems to have any, anywhere.
