No one has tried one of these in a 12th scale car yet? Man, now I'm even more intrigued with its potential.

I've just got my first 1/12 car and was looking at getting a 19t or mod to go in it. Being an off-roader from way back the Checkpoint name/brand was one I always wanted to get. And apart from anything else I think they're the best looking as well.

But unfortunately I can't find anyone with the range for sale online that ships internationally. Tower has one model in stock but that's not exactly choice is it.

Lucky here in NZ there is never really a season, if it's dry we race.

I just want to take a second to say thank you to Duane Silva for checking out my motor at the mod nats race in CT your taking time to make sure it was Ok and in good working order and answering my questions on maintenance of the motor says a lot about the way you guys treat your customers. The checkpoint motor is absolutely the best motor I have ever run it still has the same awsome rip it had when new and it has about 10 runs on it now. Thanks again........................

The 19 turn/stock motors are coming very soon. I believe we are just waiting on the endbells now.

Just wondering, is the 19T going to be a fixed endbell spec type motor, or an open, handwound modified adjustable timing motor?

I'm kinda hoping for a fixed 19T.

according to Tower listing it's a handwound 19T spec. don't know if it has a fixed or adjustable timing...

I should be able to get a 19 turn next week, the endbells will be fixed 24 degrees. I havent run 19 turn in about a year, and only ran the Reedy when I did, so I wont know how to compare it, I just know it will be competitive before it is released.
