Do you have a problem with Capitalism?

If the local hobby shop wants to stay alive, they need to add value to what they are selling. Whining about Internet sales is stupid.

Yeah , what he said.

If the service is good and staff knowledgeable and willing to help I wil buy from LHS even if slightly more expensive.

If on the other hand service sucks and price is high, (my local), I WILL (and do) shop online.

This hobby suffers from too many middlemen inflating the price of most items.( especially true in NZ).

Internet shops will hopefully make the middleman trim his margins.
