Some people use these to create fire versus using flintsone.

Hey all you GP fans! Be sure to keep the anti-IB stuff coming. You need all the help you can get! By the way, I know of a family that exploded a GP3300 pack that caught their house on fire (carpet)and sent their son to the hospital. No BS.

there are so many wires there i'm surprised that the inductance hasn't created a rift in the space/time continuum.

I sense a disturbance in the force.

That was an incident that happens in one of the club race in HK. This was new batteries from Intellect. The guy was charging the batteries and caused quite an incident on that day. The cells caused an explosion and caught fire. I think they were using like 6A or 7A to charge the pack.

It is known that Intellect cells are very sensitive to temperature. Try to keep them in 46~48 degree Celsius. This is because the new materials that they use in the cells.

I personally prefer the IB cells because of the weight and pricing. I still have few packs of IB 3600 and like them very much.

Just have to be very careful when charging the pack.

Two of my 6 new IB 3600 cells vented when I charged them for the 4th time... I thought I did something wrong when my fellow racer experienced the same thing....

I have 5 IB3600 packs and they work fine never an issue for me.

Perhaps people forget that these cells unless bought matched, are pure raw cells, not even throwaway cells from a matcher.

So the pack you just assembled may have 6 cells with very different levels of charge...
