Default Motor Temperature

Hi guys,

how hot should my motor be getting, its a 13.5t dynamite used for touring cars.

i have tried several gearing/timing etc but it never seems to get hot, barely warm, does this mean im not running it at its optimum?

Thanks

Nathan

155-160f is considered Max. 120-145f is where most motors are the quickest. If you feel your off pace add timing and gearing as needed.

If you're racing in a cold environment, the motor will also stay cool.
The only way to gear really is using your laptimes to see if a change in gearing is actually making you faster or not.
