Have classes been announced? Will there be a F1 class?

When I heard that this was going to be the venue for the On Road Nats I was pretty stoked. The track is in a really nice area and there are lots of nice hotels and restaurants. The beaches are not too far away if you bring family and there is lots to do after the race days.

This track is a regular stop for the Florida State Series. It was a roller hockey rink that was re purposed as a good sized, permanent r/c track. Last time I raced there the track was very clean and they used VHT so traction and tire wear was very good.

The guy running the event, Tim Potter is a very professional, honest guy. You can count on facility being ready to go when you get there.

Hi guys,

I am not really an Electric guy and have only run 1/12 a couple of times a few years back. I got the Electric Capricorn and will be building it after the Winternat's to go to the Royal Palm track a couple of times before the Nationals. I already have the kit and just need to get what ever electronics I am going to use.

What are the spec tires going to be for this race, so when I practice I just use those tires? I am going to run Modified sedan only.

Thanks,

DJ Apolaro

Its probably too early to know for sure as Tim has to request bids from the top tire manufacturers. However, the FL State Series runs Solaris premounts as a spec tire. I would imagine that would be a likely choice.

Adrian is spot on... we are working on bids.

I should have the tire announced in two to three weeks time.

WOW! Had to go to page 8 to find this.
Hey Tim, I'm wanting to run 1/12 scale at the race. Will there be a 17.5 class or only 13.5? I know it is still 2 months away. But any info you can give me would be great.

Thanks,
Steve P.

Hey guys, when are the sign ups opening up? I believe we are within the 90 day window now. Before that I guess we need to find out which classes will be available :P

Looking forward to the race, I want to start planning ahead.

Thanks!

Sorry Nolan,

It has been an eventful few weeks. We will be running Solaris Tires, trying to get the final details hammered out. We will be putting the full court press on ...right after the Carpet Nats...

Thanks,
Tim
