How do you keep the Pardus front wheels from cracking where the bearings sits.

Might be too late to answer this, but…

I was wrapping the outside of the plastic with battery strapping tape to strengthen the area.

I stopped doing this because the new Pardus tires now come with re-designed rims front and rear. They are much stronger and the bearing sits further into the wheel from the inside.

Pictures!

Just realized I didn't post these pictures in this thread. Here are a couple pics of my recently finished McLaren MP4-24 and my revised electronics layout for our late summer UF1 series.

For the body to fit properly, I did trim the small carbon pieces to narrow the chassis. I then had to move the body posts in, as seen in the second photo. My goal was to retain as much of the body as possible, and very little additional trimming was necessary to accomplish that.

Previously I had been running with the battery forward and the ESC next to the motor. The car worked well, but was just off the pace of the top two drivers. Now that I moved the battery to the rear, on our medium grip carpet track, I have improved my fastest lap by .5 seconds. Lap averages have improved considerably as well.

Has anyone tried running the Tuning Haus VBC Flash-04 2.5mm chassis/pod/spacer set?

zucki348 11-19-2014 11:32 AM

I have heard that the Flash will be canceld in the Vbc Programm an the Lightning will be the only F1 car from the VBC Company on the Market ?

Did anyone knows more details ?

That would definitely make sense. Two concurrent F1 chassis designs is a difficult task.

That's sad news, i really like the Flash.

here's mine, with a little something to calm down the nerves before a race ;)

i made some modifications to mine, i installed the Exotek upper arm set and made a little topdeck myself. It's working great and giving Mr. Weber ( ETS A-finalist) a hard time.

i will be racing at the ETS in Hrotovice, hope to see some more F1 drivers there.
