Yes, along with the Tuning Haus front and rear shims in order to get closer to a 3mm ride height. And his aluminum rear pod sliders. They have been bulletproof.

i switched this year from the 3 racing to the Flash... great car handles amazingly, the quality is great. Dave Ehrlich had the TQ this last week at the snowbirds going into round 4 but a bit of bad luck got in his way....

The Tuning Haus chassis is actually very good. Bill was in the A at the IIC with his and the chassis is a very good option to the stock chassis.

Pricing for the Flash-04 is pretty much set at $339. It really is a good car that is capable of competing with any of the others.

Stormer has it in stock at @ $269!!!

I almost sold mine as I could not put any power down and was very inconsistent. I was soooo frustrated... then I read Brian Bodine's article on setting up a pan chassis on RCPITWHORES. Changed my outlook completely!
I learned what I should do with my setup and BAM! the car was so dialed. Steering became consistent, I could pull the trigger without fear that the car was going to loop when coming out of a corner. Just a pure pleasure to drive after understanding what the changes would do.

Sorry it's taken me so long to join in here...I've been running a version of the Flash 04 for almost a year and would be happy to answer any questions anyone may have. My experience has been both carpet and asphalt using Pit Shimizu and Pardus tires on carpet.
Also, my thanks to RC Tech users that have liked the Tuning Haus FB page.
Kind Regards,
Bill

How do you keep the Pardus front wheels from cracking where the bearings sits.

I've heard of this but never experienced it, as I tend to run my front bearings dry as I believe the problem may be caused by bearing oil attacking the wheel material. I would try running the front bearings dry or with just a tiny drop of oil after a thorough cleaning and see if that doesn't eliminate the problem.

Go to a Sear's or Ace hardware. They have plastic washers with an inside diameter of 1/2 inch. These will slip right over where the inside bearing goes. Then just shoo goo it in place. Cheap fix!

Default steering set up

What's the best steering setup? Using the kit steering rack or a direct setup reason asking I see vbc did away with it on the lighting f. I currently just setup my steering direct have not had the chance of testing it out. I also use the crc center shock setup. Can someone post some pics of there direct steering setup? Thank.
