Default Mostlikely a noobish Question

I recently got a tamiya tt-01 car and when I replaced the stock motor with a new one I started having problems with control when i would apply throttle the steering would shift side to side all by itself. Can someone please tell me what causes it to do this and how I can fix it thanks in advance.

the servo? or just slop?
if the servo is going crazy thats glitching. stick a couple caps to the motor.

Change brushes in that motor .. and also add some new caps to it .. some brushes that come as standard with new motors do have less lubricant in them and create alot of noise ....
