Which servo & battery fits into a TC4?
 

I have searched through http://www.teamassociated.com/manuals/tc4 to figure out what is the maximum size for the servo in a TC4 - but no success. If I understand it correctly their own servo S1903MG would work (http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/29125) which is rather big with 40.4 x 20.0 x 37.9 mm.

Why spend $50 and more if Hobbypartz has good stuff for less, same for batteries. They have a nice 2S 5000mH 50C 7.4 battery ROAR approved. Should this battery fit into a TC4 or how can I find this out?

Related to the servo how many different plugs are there for servos? I am thinking of buying a DX3S from Spektrum which amainhobbies just offers for $165. Who can I find out if that servo works fine with a spektrum receiver?

Any standard size servo will fit and any standard size 2S ROAR type battery pack will fit. I use Turnigy Nano-Tech LiPo batteries. You will want to dremel the little rounded corners in the battery tray so it sits all the way at the bottom. You will also want to get a graphite battery strap instead of the one that comes with the car that's meant for NiMh battery cells.

Or you could just use a washer under one of the e-clip screws on the battery post and flip the stock strap over.
